Earth everyDay, Laudato Si

Living Laudato Si’: Caring for Our Common Home

Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical, we care for our common home — not just on Earth Day, but every day.

We need to care for the Earth so that it may continue, as God willed, to be the source of life for the entire human family.

– Pope Francis

What We Do

At St. Anne’s, we are dedicated to living out the teachings of Laudato Si’ by embracing eco-friendly practices within our church. We focus on using sustainable materials for events, minimizing waste, and promoting recycling throughout our church activities.

We actively involve our parishioners in community gardening projects, supporting local and sustainable food practices. These initiatives help foster a deeper connection with nature and promote environmentally-conscious living within our church family.

We also participate in local environmental efforts, including clean-up drives, tree planting, and awareness campaigns to create a positive environmental impact.

Our Values

With a deep respect for God’s creation and a strong sense of responsibility, we take meaningful steps toward sustainability, justice, and compassion.

Our team brings passion, consistency, and purpose to everything we do—from education and outreach to daily environmental practices inspired by Laudato Si’.

We believe that lasting impact begins with shared values and everyday commitment.

A Message for Our Time

In our preschool, even the youngest members are learning what it means to care for creation.

This video shows our hands-on garden irrigation system — designed, built, and tended by children and educators together.
